Vertical Solutions was formed in 2005 by two avid climbers, Dustin Buckthal and John Stack. The two have been building walls for the prior eight years and now have united to create Vertical Solutions. Vertical Solutions mission is to bring affordable climbing and bouldering walls to the sports enthusiasts. Vertical Solutions' business strategy is economical solutions through low overhead, low-cost construction techniques and strong relationships with our suppliers.
Based in Salt Lake City, Vertical Solutions focuses on the western United States including Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona.
Dustin Buckthal - Co-owner of Vertical Solutions and current owner and manager for the Front Climbing Club in Salt Lake City. The Front is Utah's premier bouldering gym. Prior to The Front, Dustin managed climbing gyms in Ashland OR, and Boise ID. An avid sports climber and entrepreneur, Dustin has degrees from Southern Oregon University and University of Utah in mathematics and chemistry.
